You're Not a Monkey, You're an American Citizen
Brazil fines 'obscene' US tourist, as well they should. Diplomatic tensions aside, that kind of gesture is just downright stupid and should be fined, all the more so if the guy is on some sort of belief that he is inherently superior because of his birthplace. He says "I'm an American Citizen, not a monkey" with such pride but I wonder if Brazilians hear it (as I do) as ironic self-condemnation. So WHAT if you're an American citizen? Why should you be afforded more privileges if your actions are no better (worse, rather) than a monkey? You're damn right you're not a monkey. Don't insult them.

MOnkeys are adorable, intelligent, and witty. Why are they constantly compared to Bushees dummie? Poor monkeys. We should have a world monkey rights day!
