About a quarter of the way through the Rorem. Though much of it is incomprehensible (in that I'm not familiar with the circumstances, things, or people he talks about), one can still get a general feel of Rorem's views of life, as well as genuine feeling of progression of time. One also gets fun little snippets that (at least for me) have never appeared elsewhere. Another example:
For meaning in prose, punctuation is all:
John had had had Frank had had had had had had had been right. (That is: On the exam for the conjugation of the verb "to have," John had had "had," Frank had had "had had." "Had had" had been right.)
