Now fast forward to the movie that killed Raul Julia and then on to the movie that give Raiden a lisp. Then onto Angelina Jolie with big boobs. You'd think people would learn: video games don't necessarily make good movies. Well, I'm sorry to have to report this but Soul Calibur is turning into a movie. A tale of Hollywood greed and stupidity, retold throughout the centuries...

Well if you remember mortal combat the movies they were alright but the whole mario bros movie was the worst thing that could ever happen to game history.
well if soul calibor comes out the movie would probably be like mortal combat.
side note: and there is also a final fantasy vii movie coming out and i bet you that that will be a kick ass movie becouse it was a kick ass game and one of my favorites.

I thought the Mortal Kombat movies blew quite a bit too. True, better than Street Fighter or Mario, but come on, Raiden with a lisp?
I'm scared of Soul Cal coming out. Final Fantasy VIIL Advent Children is probably what you're talking about (see my entry at anime.lukema.net) and that does look interesting, though I'm not going to get my hopes up. I seem to remember another "Final Fantasy" movie that was, how shall we say it...heinous.
