There was apparently a conference about Wal-Mart. OK. These people were against the phenomenon that is walmart. But more amusing is where this conference was held: right here in good old Santa Barbara, where, incidentally, the nearest walmart is 45 minutes away by car. Perhaps this is to prevent the conference attendees from running out to the nearest walmart o get good deals?
