So there's this '98 BMW Z3 M Roadster for sale. Buyer willing to sell for $20k (probably a bit less if I pushed him) because he's leaving the country in late june. Is that enough time for me to amass a large chunk of money to pay for the car? HELL no! So why am I lusting for it? Because for those in the market for a Z3 M Roadster, this is a hell of a deal. I don't think I've ever even seen an M go for so low. And this car comes with some performance modifications too! (whether you like that or not, that usually adds a couple k onto the sale price). The craiglist ad is here. I figure I can maybe save up about 5k (+4k value of my old car) by late June. Anybody want to give me a 12.5k 48-month loan? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

PS: That's not the car for sale...that's got a whole bunch of after market mods on it. But you get the idea...same color, mostly same styling.
