New shades! Oakley Why 8.1 Black Chrome Frame with Ice Iridium Lens. Official Website here (oakley.com).

Lost my old shades (CURSE MY STUPIDITY!!!) so took the opportunity to switch from wrap around plastic sporty tapered to metal rimless CHiPs chromed. For reference, these were my previous shades. I know they're in the "women's" section but I liked the styles dammit.

So far, these have been good to me. The lens look as Oakleys do. Not the best lenses in the world but far more comfortable than generics, especially in harsh light conditions. The blue tint is only visible when there is little light behind the lens/lots of light in front of the lens (typical wearing conditions). The picture on the left is with flash and the right without flash. The tint typically looks more like the picture on the left, but a bit darker shade of blue and a bit shinier. The frame itself is pretty sturdy and the black chrome is quite nice. It doesn't get sullied very easily yet still shines, but not so much that you start edging on pimp. Overall, it's strong and light.

It's not worth retail and probably not even worth whatever you can get it for on eBay, which was my method of acquisition. However, if you hate fat earstems like me, then you may be willing to pay a bit more for a bit less. Was originally thinking of reselling these but now am leaning towards keeping them. Just call me ponch.
