MT-Blacklist is a search-and-destroy (as well as a search-and-prevent) plug-in for MT that looks for bad URLs and can batch-delete comments. The idea is that if you target a domain name for deletion, it denies the spammer traffic to their site (which they want), and is much better than trying to guess what permutation of "beastiality-lollita-pr0n-subdom4in-name.youmybitch.com" the spammers are going to try next.
Jay Allen, MTB's creator, claims that it's almost fun killing spam dead. I wouldn't say fun but it's at least 10 times better than using MT's interface to delete comments. Go to his site for the latest master-list of spam URLs, and update often. If you've collected your own bunch of URLs, you can always contribute by posting your blacklist (by default published at /blacklist.txt). Kill those spammers dead!

Its the only way to go. Works well but I find the community is slow to update the list.
