Yosemite Valley
I used to think that photoshopping photos was akin to cheating. But if that were true, putting a linear polarizer on a lens would be cheating too. So having shed my naive notions about digital photography, I now photoshop without shame. I'm not good with it yet but just a little bit of futzing around can make a pretty big difference. Here's a shot I took of Yosemite Valley from a plane. The first is the original and the second it the photoshopped one. Even if the second looks slightly fake, I think it's still a lot better than the original. What do you think? Oh Photoshop, how I love thee, but you cost so much! One of these days I'll actually buy you legitimately. Now the before and after pics:
