UCSB is a party school, no doubt and no where is this more significant than on "Del Playa", the street closest to the ocean/beach in Isla Vista (the ghetto slums of UCSB). T, A, and I all have our weekd end (basically) on Thursday with the completiong of S's seminar. So after getting slightly inebriated, we went down to Del Playa and walked along the beach. There was very little lighting so I had to take the shots I could catch with 30 second exposure time and F2.0. Still, some interesting effects with the fog and lighting reflections. The first is a shot of the beach in front of Del Playa at night with A and T. Second is the UCSB lagoon shining through the silhouette of the trees and other foregrounds materials. Both taken around 1AM.
