Stopped by Goleta city beach with my camera again (the beach that UCSB is on) today after visiting a car shop specializing in brakes. After talking with the very cool mechanic, I felt much much better. 1) I won't have to replace my brakes until quite a bit from now, especially since I put very few miles on the car normally. 2) Dealer is never to be trusted since they told me that my front brakes were "gone" a couple thousand miles ago even though the brake sensor never came on. 3) Rotors won't be quite as expensive as I thought. 4) The work won't be cheap but not nearly as expensive as I had thought. Awesome. Gotta remember "Superior Brake and Alignment" on 664 S. Fairview. But anyway, walked around the beach, took a couple of shots, and couldn't resist turning a particularly bad shot of the car into a stylized black and white ad copy like...thing. God I have so much work to do.
