1. What iPod(s) do you have? - 4GB iPod mini in baby blue (I didn't pick the color. I won it in a contest). Formerly a 1st gen 10 gig iPod, the original MaPod, now bequeathed to the maternal guardian unit.

2. Which case do you have? - None! It faces the brutal forces of nature and laughs with wild abandon. "I am a Man's iPod," it shouts, before retreating inside because it doesn't want rain on its simply darling full circle wool Sesena cape.

3. How much music do you have in iTunes? - 8.83GB it says, not counting random stuff archived on CD. I'd estimate around 12 gigs total.

4. How many hours a day do you use your iPod? - Depends on the life demands, but usually less than an hour.

5. When do you listen to it? - Whenever the body is active but the mind is not. Or even when the mind is only mildly active and lusts for that Christe Eleison Alto-Soprano duet from Bach's B Minor Mass.

6. What are your iPod rituals? - I stick it in my pockets, and then take it out, and then stick it in again, and then take it out, and faster and more furiously as my mind becomes ever more broken and fickle until everything builds to an intense climax of fumbling and then I just put on the Bach Mass in B Minor.

7. What made you choose the iPod over other models? - Used a friend's iPod and fell in love with the interface. It was what I had always wanted. I was extra-motivated having been recently spurned by an MP3-CD player.

8. What is your most played song? - If I look at the iTunes on this (work) machine, Allegro Molto (the Polonaise section) from the Chopin's Andante Spianato and Grand Polonaise Brilliante.

9. What is your primary Pod-peeve (besides kids using it for a fashion accesory)? - Not necessarily a Pod-peeve but I wish they'd invent earphones with retractable cords already. Mine always get so tangled. Actually, they're out there, but just not in America. And I know who to blame... BOLTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10. Which genre takes up most of your iPod? - Classical. Not even a contest.

11. Which artist takes up most of your iPod? - Right now, not sure...probably Chopin.

12. Which head/earphones do you use? - The ones that came with the ipod. My older sony clip ons broke and I've been too cheap to get new ones ever since.

13. What other accessories do you have? - None.

14. What are you looking for in future iPods? - Again, not iPod specific but I'd like direct-neural interface. It's about time. Why can't I have the world's knowledge plugged into my cerebral cortex? I don't want to act like Keanu Reeves but I do want to know Kung Fu.
